Damn and damn.

RIP Jay Bennett, former member of Wilco. He died in his sleep Sunday night, from, as of now, unknown causes.

Bennett contributed significantly to Summerteeth and Yankee Hotel Foxtrot, two of my favorite Wilco albums. He was reported to be something of a musical genius, and, as the two so often go together, extremely temperamental.

What a loss to the musical world, and to the world in general.
